You may have seen salmon migrating upriver, or trying to leap past small waterfalls. But have you ever watched them trying to cross a flooded roadway?
The video, posted on the KOMO News website, shows salmon swimming across Skokomish Valley Road in Mason County, Wash., on Tuesday morning, as a powerful storm struck most of the Pacific Northwest.
Rain and strong winds are expected through at least Thanksgiving Day, and wind gusts from 50-70 mph were recorded in some areas.
As for the salmon, hopefully they can avoid the busy holiday traffic.
