Fans of Kelly Slater, who are accustomed to watching the 10-time ASP World Tour champion competing in man-on-man heats against other top-level surfers, might get a kick out of watching how Slater deals with a crowded Malibu lineup.
Basically, he carves circles around the many wetsuit-clad obstacles, kicks spray into their faces and makes them appear as though they're surfing at a slower speed.
Slater, the most prolific competition surfer in history, was at fabled Surfrider Beach recently to greet a large south swell and, of course, people filmed his remarkable session. Here's the YouTube version, courtesy of Oglevision:
