The bear was lured into an aluminum culvert trap on Friday, and died after it tried to bolt from the trap as the door came down on the back of its neck.
The traps are heavy-duty pieces of equipment designed to hold adult grizzlies. Park officials now say they will design smaller traps designed to catch bear cubs.

Morons. This just after the tranqued bear disaster.
We need to pause all of these activities and analyze them for safety and competence.
